There are moments in life with God when He doesn't lead us forward, but deliberately leaves us standing still. I, too, have experienced these times—not as punishment or failure, but because He sees deeper than I could see myself. In these quiet, sometimes uncomfortable pauses, one of the most precious journeys begins for me: away from self-doubt, hidden patterns, and old conditioning, toward clarity, freedom, and a new, liberated identity in Him.
In my book "Known," I invite you to see yourself with me in the light of God—not as a judgment, but as a tender and liberating gift. Using the biblical stories of Adam and Eve, Cain, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Peter, Paul, and Timothy, I show step by step how God recognizes us: first, lovingly, and with the clear goal of healing and realigning us. It's about the inner stirrings that often unconsciously shape us, long before we find the words to describe them. And it's about how God's gaze never shames us, but sets us free.
This book is the second in the series "The Journey of a Mature Faith." I wrote it based on my own lifelong journey with God. For many years, I have lived and worked between Germany and Brazil, and since 2006 I have led the Frankfurt House of Prayer. Through intensive learning processes, I have personally experienced how God rearranges and deepens what truly sustains us. My words connect profound meaning with everyday life—without drama or exaggeration, but with an honesty that creates space for genuine transformation.
"Known" is not a quick-fix motivational book with ready-made solutions. It is a calm, honest companion for the longer journey of faith. I write for all those who feel that superficial answers are no longer enough: for seekers, for the exhausted, for believers who want to mature and deepen their faith, and for leaders who bear responsibility.
